Send in the Clown

It's 1960, and "The Bobo the Clown Show" is a beloved children's program facing declining ratings. When a new sponsor demands a younger sidekick for Bobo, an audition brings in Tommy E., much to the dismay of Stu K., the alcoholic, frustrated Shakespearean actor who has played Bobo for years. Told through an older man's memories of childhood, it's a story about what show business asks of the people who work in it.
